The Viaduct Story
Stockport County. Blossoms. Michelle Keegan. Enjoying a show at Stockport Plaza. Fred Perry. Stockport Gin. Robinson’s Brewery. The Viaduct. The Town Hall lit up at night. Having a wander round Stockport Market. Taking a stroll through Bramhall Park. Bamboo till 2. Daz Sampson. Millions being spent on residential and commercial projects across the town. Stopping off at Mustaph’s for a takeaway. The Hat Works. Watching a new film at Redrock. The Pyramid. Karaoke and a bacon barm at Bredbury Hall at four in the morning. The 192. The Air Raid Shelters. Strawberry Studios.
Stockport’s not a bad old town is it? It’s home. And not just any home, but a warm, cosy, welcoming one. Could maybe do with a lick of paint here and there. But generally speaking, this little corner of Cheshire is a nice place to live, work and play. (Without wishing to sound too much like the old Mars bar advert.)

In the meantime, here’s to a big night out at Bredbury Hall once Covid restrictions are lifted, a brand new Stockport train station, and Stockport County celebrating a return to the Football League in a few
months’ time.
